fonts

ok i admit it i have a problem, its super dorky. i really like fonts and while these are by no means the sweetest fonts i've ever seen then are some new hand drawn bangers. there will probably be more....also working on a few screen designs....have a good one chris, i'm about 100% sure you are the other person in the world who is reading this besides myself, you get that postcard or what? matt and kim are playing a halloween show here with the go team. might should probably go, mad fun. i could go as the guy who doesn't have any friends and is all awkward and stuff.....

Canyonlands

A sketch I did today of a canyon in Utah. I was in the Canyonlands a couple years with Candy Basura and Scott and I thought it was a great place. One night we camped right beside a ledge that dropped to the canyon floor and this image reminds me of that camp spot.

New series of dumpsters and rainbows. i have about 7 illustrations of rainbow trash or beams of color flowing out of dumpsters..

the frenchy

Here are a couple recent sketches for projects I'm working on at the moment. The above is from a series that is going to be called The Frenchy's Adventures. So far he's rode a bike and drank wine... and smoked cigarettes.

The other one is for a friends album cover. The title is Death to the Chicken Killer. The chickens still need to grab some swords before marching. Still a bit more to go but the rough ideas are sketched around.
I'll have some pictures of the .post due. show at Everyday Joes up in the coming week.

new zine....

yo dayafter....is anybody out there...so thought i would take a minute to drop a little posty. i've just finished up a little zine zine. you can see it on flickr. look up peoples photos candy basura...its something like ten pages. let me know what you think...trades?

not dead

dayafter is not dead.(period) we've just been travelin and moving around. all you colorado heads keep an eye out for the post due postcard show in ftc at everyday joes coffee. candy basura is planting roots in philadelph and promises new work and a site update soon.check out our friends paris in peril at myspace and hodis half note.(details soon) also check candy basura on flickr, for sketches and new work posts. go on a bike ride or something and check back in a week or so. holla

postcards

we like to make art stuff and trade it. dayafter is just a project a few friends came up with to share our fun/work with others. we are trying to meet up weekly to create things. music, paintings, illustrations, screen or blockprints, and hopefully all kinds of other things we've never imagined. these are a few postcards we put together sunday night. does anyone want to trade us something. check back in a couple days and see whats new.
