Mailed & Mounted

I sent this postcard into the Mailed & Mounted show at the Anton Art Center in Mount Clemens, MI. All cards are donated and sold for $20 each with the proceeds going to the programming at the art center. esther klein/ Charlie Hobbs

Here are a few photos of Charlie Hobbs work.  These photos are from his current show running at Esther Klein Gallery (3600Market St.)  The pictures I have aren't great but there are two sculptures that rotate and a pully system that slowly pulls rows of shiny diamond shapes around the room.  If anyone from or in philadelphia reads this, stop by and see it yourself before March 15th.

Birds of a Feather

This piece is going to the Birds of a Feather art show in Denver. It is 24" x 30" and original ink and marker. I will also be selling 7" x 7" (4" x 6" image size) prints made on my Gocco at the show and they will be a limited run of 18. I encourage you to check out the show if you are in town anytime during the month of February.

Gocco

Back in Denver after a week in Illinois and brought home a PG 5 (4"x6" print size) Gocco printer. I couldn't wait to get back and start using it and this guy here is my first attempt at it. I really like how it turned out but it is pretty heavy on the ink and I'll need to work on that. More prints to come and if I can get my inks worked out I will probably start selling limited prints. Willy (the card above) was part of a series of 8 and I have 3 left. If you leave a comment with your name and address I will send you one. But you need to send a card back... its Dayafter TRADE.
